About
My name is Matt and I am the owner of Trackside Auto Custom and Restoration. I started working on cars from the time I could walk, helping my father as he restored cars as a hobby. He also raced Triumphs and Mini Coppers at local tracks. This is how I developed my love of cars and racing.

Mission
My mother and step father owned a small general repair shop I grew up in this shop and started working there when I was 15. I have worked in the automotive industry for the 32 years since.
After high school I went to Universal Technical Institute and graduated with a degree in Automotive and diesel technology with special achievement in automatic transmissions. Over the next 15 years I worked at various small shops, fleet shops and dealerships. Working on everything from lawn mowers to heavy trucks. This gave me a wide range of experience and allowed me to determine what I was best at and enjoyed the most.
Vision
I settled at a custom/high performance shop in Cuyahoga Falls working on muscle cars, hot rods and sports imports. I also gained a great deal of corvette experience working there. I then went to a restoration shop specializing in British sports cars. Along the way I have restored and modified several of my own sports cars, muscle cars and hot rods. There is not much I haven't seen or worked on.
After several years being frustrated working for others knowing I could do better I have decided to start out on my own.
I am an A.S.E. Certified master mechanic with L1 engine performance and an experienced welder and fabricator. I enjoy doing custom bodywork such as spoilers flares and ground effects. I have become very experienced in British sports cars and enjoy doing V8 swaps in them. I have a lot of experience with modern electronics and can upgrade cars with modern conveniences like fuel injection, distributer-less ignition, power windows key less entry etc...
I will work with you to build your car your way. I would love the opportunity to work on your car please allow me to show you what I can do.
